Masker accepts walk-on offer from Nebraska

Kearney Catholic quarterback Matt Masker has ended his recruitment. He announced on twitter Sunday night that he has accepted a walk–on offer from Nebraska.

The Kearney native shattered numerous C1 records during his career most of which were held by former Wood River quarterback and new Husker head coach Scott Frost.

Masker set a new mark in total passing yards, touchdowns in his career, and a single season, most completions, and best career completion percentage. Masker threw for 2,506 yards and 25 touchdowns while throwing just 4 interceptions.

He boasted offers from various programs like South Dakota State, UNK, Northwest Missouri State and Emporia State to name a few.
