Storm send 23 to NHL Developmental camps

The National Hockey League teams have been busy hosting hundreds of prospects at their annual developmental camps. Once again, the Tri–City Storm is well represented.

23 Storm boys in all earning invites to camps. 18 NHL teams invited at least one former or current Tri–City player. They included a lot of the key pieces who led the Storm to their first Clark Cup Championship. Wade Allison participated in Philadelphia's camp, Alex Limoges accepted an invite to Anaheim. Winnipeg had 3 storm players at their camp. Former goalie Jake Kielly, Forwards Nico Sturm and Mason Appleton. Only 2 of the 23 invited to camps are expected to be on the 2017 Strom roster, D Nate Clurman and Goalie Filip Larsson.
