Arcadia–Loup City established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in 2018.

The Rebels began the year on a 14 game winning streak before a loss to Ord in mid–January. ALC now turns their sights on Lincoln and the goal of adding some hardware to the trophy case.

They enter the state tournament as the 7 seed.

The season wasn't without its share of bumps in the road. Leading up to the sub–district tournament, the Rebels lost 3 of 4 games. A/LC using the skid as a learning tool and not letting it ruin one of the best seasons in recent memory.

The Rebels defeated Cambridge for the District title, beating talented teams like Ravenna and South Loup along the way. A/LC faces 2 seed Yutan on Thursday. Tip is set for 3:45 pm from Lincoln Southeast.
