Doniphan-Trumbull girls outlast Centura

The Doniphan-Trumbull girls were able to counter the size at Centura with good passing in a 42-34 victory Tuesday night at Doniphan.

Using a second and third quarter spurt where the Cardinals outscored Centura by 10 points, Doniphan-Trumbull improved to 8-4 on the season and halted a two-game losing streak. The Cards have the next two games on the road, starting at Gibbon, Saturday, Jan. 12.

Centura fell to 5-5 this year and had a two-game winning streak snapped in the loss. Centura is home to Shelton on Friday, Jan. 12.
