Ravenna knocks off St. Cecilia in C2 semifinal
Ravenna got 26 points from Megan Miigerl and had four girls score in double figures to knock off No. 1 St. Cecilia, 67-59, Friday at the Devaney Sports Center.
These two teams combined for 50 points in the fourth quarter where neither team was willing to give an inch. The Hawkettes had the 26-24 edge but couldn't make up for the early deficit.
The Fiddleke sisters teamed up for another 25 for the Bluejays as Jordyn had 15 and Brooklynn made up for the rest. Mckenna Schmidt was also a big factor as she added 14 points with 12 of them coming in the second half.
Kameron Kissinger continued her sharp-shooting for St. Cecilia as she knocked in five triples, four of them coming in the fourth quarter. She had six in the quarterfinal against Hartington Cedar Catholic.
Makenna Asher had 20 points for the Hawkettes.
The Bluejays play Superior on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
