The South Loup Bobcats have made plenty of strides since the Co–Op took effect. They have increased their win total 3 years in a row despite being without one of their key players during part of that stretch. Guard Kalen Dockweiler has missed the last two seasons after suffering two torn ACL's in consecutive years. Dockweiler is healthy this season and the Bobcats are reaping the benefits as South Loup boasts one of the best records in C2.

"He was a really key piece to our puzzle and then getting him back this year really kick started us now that we're finally able to play with him again after not having him since 8th grade," said senior forward, Cade Connell.

"Finally I get to live a dream I've been waiting for since I was a little kid in elementary watching the high schoolers play basketball," said Dockweiler. " I finally get a chance to play with them. Especially with this group of seniors, we've been playing together since I was in 2nd grade, they were in 3rd. We finally have a chance to put it together. Before high school even started I was complaining about how I only get 3 years now we're down to 1 year together and this is it."

There's a logjam of talented teams in C2 on the boy's side. 2 squads are undefeated and another 5 only have 1 loss to their name.
