Superior rallies, knocks off Stanton

Teghan Sullivan hit a three with less than 15 seconds remaining to secure a 47-44 victory for Superior in a C2 semifinal versus Stanton.

Kalynn Meyer scored 13 points in the second half and 19 in the game to help lead the Wildcats. Sullivan was hot on the heels of Meyer, as she scored 10 of her 15 in the second half, including a pair of threes.

Stanton led the Wildcats 24-17 through the first two quarters, but were outscored 30-20 in the second half, including 17-9 fourth quarter in favor of Superior.

The Mustangs had three girls score in double figures; Jaiden Hartl (14), Hannah Heppner (11) and Liz Christensen (12).

Superior plays Ravenna in the C2 championship, Saturday, 4:30 p.m.
