Caine Pittman

Caine Pittman was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Columbus State Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in 2020. After leaving CSCC, Caine finished his college career at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Sports Communication.

Caine’s journalism career started at Otterbein, where he hosted a sports radio show called “Kicking it with Caine” on WOBN 97.5 FM. Caine also served as a television color commentator for Otterbein men's and women’s basketball teams for the 2021-2022 seasons.

2022 was a big year for Caine. He would do Freelance work for Classic Teleproductions Inc. in conjunction with Spectrum. In the summer of 2022, Caine became a sports Intern for WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio. After finishing up his WHIZ internship, Caine moved on to be a part-time sports reporter/ play-by-play announcer for WMFD-TV in Mansfield, Ohio.

Caine's desire to be a great journalist has brought him to NTV News. He hopes to provide the people of Nebraska with excellent news coverage daily.

In his free time, Caine enjoys watching movies, reading, working out, talking to family back in Ohio, trying new foods, and watching sports, as Caine is an avid lover of sports. He grew up playing football and baseball; coincidentally, one of Caine’s favorite athletes is Cornhusker's great Eric Crouch.
