Carol Staab was born in Detroit, MI. She graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in Michigan and attended Michigan State University, where she received her degree in Telecommunications.
Carol began her career in Traverse City, MI at a CBS affiliate as reporter/anchor. From there, she moved to California and worked for PBS in Fresno andthen a Fox affiliate in San Diego. She then came to Nebraska to anchor the 6pm and 10pm news right here at NTV. After her sons were born, Carol took a break from TV but eventually went back to work as the co-host the Morning Show for My Bridge Radio. After coming full circle, she is now excited to be back at NTV as co-host of Good Life.
In her free time, Carol loves to garden and enjoys summertime activities, travel, water parks and cheering on the Michigan State Spartans. Her husband James is a Paramedic with Good Samaritan Hospital. They have two sons, Jonah and Jeremiah, and two cute dogs, Bella and Peanut.
Among her favorite memories, Carol lists skydiving, going on a hot air balloon ride, cave exploring and interviewing the great George Burns, a true highlight in her career. And just for the record, she hates snakes.
