Regina was born in Mansfield, MO and grew up on a farm near Belleville, KS. She graduated from Republic County High School and went on to graduate from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.
Regina knew she wanted to be a meteorologist since she was in elementary school, but didn’t know what sector she wanted to work in. Then in high school, she enjoyed her journalism class and decided broadcast meteorology was the perfect way to combine her loves of weather and journalism. She pursued her goal through internships at WIBW-TV in Topeka, KS and KHAS-TV in Hastings, volunteering at National Weather Service Hastings, and working at KUJH-TV at the University of Kansas. She came to NTV because she enjoys seeing all four seasons and all kinds of weather, which made Nebraska the perfect place to work.
During her spare time, Regina enjoys outdoor activities, which includes running and playing tennis. When not outside, she plays the piano, bakes and watches college sports with family and friends.
