Temperatures weren't that far off of seasonal averages this afternoon in most areas except southwest Nebraska into Kansas where highs were mainly in the cooler 40's. In northern Nebraska they finally caught a break via highs breaking 50's for the first time this week and helping melt some of the snow that remains on the ground. A different story for them tomorrow as a cold front moves south out of South Dakota bringing them a much cooler day with highs back in the 30's. Most of us will see temps in the upper 40's to mid 50's with the front possibly bringing a narrow band of heavy snow Saturday night into Sunday morning from southwest to central into northeast Nebraska. If you have travel plans west in the state be aware of possible slippery roads and reduced visibility. With the front bringing rain and snow it also ushers in much cooler air with highs remaining mainly in the 40's through Tuesday with warmer 50's Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday evening another front and disturbance arrives bringing fair rain chances along with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms Thursday night. We'll wrap March up next Friday with temperatures averaging around ten degrees lower than normal.{/strong}
